Neofinetia falcata

There are hundreds of varieties of these beautiful little plants. See AOS website or Orchid Digest Vol 70 No. 2, Apr-May-Jun 2006, p. 62 "Fukiran, the Living Antique" by Jason Fischer

Many growers prefer to keep them in a cool or intermediate greenhouse. Near the coast they will also grow outside. They are beautifully displayed in the traditional Japanese pots, but they'll also do nicely in standard pots (clay or plastic) or mounted. In the greenhouse, they can bloom throughout the year. July and August bring the most blooming for the ones grown outdoors.

Each plant is identified with the initials of the owner, and an email link if more information is desired. The variety is included if available.
